Idalou, Texas' own Josh Abbott hit the National scene this week when his video made its debut on CMT! This past week Josh was in Nashville writing and meeting with press to talk about his new album "She's Like Texas" out in stores tomorrow, and had the chance to be interviewed by Nashville's NBC affiliate WSMV-TV.

Josh Abbott Band’s New Album Debuts At No. 3 on the iTunes Country Music Albums Chart

 

 


 
The Josh Abbott Band is celebrating the amazing release of his sophomore album She’s Like Texas which soared to the No. 3 spot on the iTunes Country Music Albums Chart right behind Country Music superstars Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift on 2/16 and secured the No. 35 spot on the all-genre iTunes album chart today 2/17. Produced by Erik Herbst, the album features JAB’s fastest rising single to date “She’s Like Texas” which is already a Top 15 hit on the Texas Music Chart and lead off Top 10 smash “All Of A Sudden.”


Josh Abbott heard the incredible news while on stage at his CD release party last night in San Marcos, TX.
“I’m extremely floored by the incredible response to the album,” Josh Abbott comments. “There are so many emotions tied into this album. Nearly every song I write is a true story of mine, or of someone I know and I’m excited to share these raw, real life experiences with country music fans.”
And, the celebrations will carry on for JAB throughout the week with in-store appearances across Texas. Upcoming in-stores include:
