Blake Shelton Returns To TV With New Singing Competition

CBS has ordered a new reality series, The Road, executive produced by Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan, creator of Yellowstone. The series is set to debut in Fall 2025.  The show will follow a headlining superstar on a journey to discover the next big artist, with singers competing to win over local fanbases and secure a spot on the tour.

Shelton and Sheridan expressed excitement about the project, aiming to provide a platform for new talent in country music.  The series will offer a unique approach to singing competitions, focusing on live performances on tour rather than in studio settings.
