City of Lubbock Begins Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation Project

On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, a pedestrian bridge alongside MLK Jr Blvd, and between Canyon Lakes Drive, will be closed for approximately five weeks for MH Civil Constructors, Inc. to perform maintenance on the existing bridge abutments.

Pedestrians are encouraged to avoid the area if possible, and to use alternative routes to cross the Canyon Lakes if necessary.
