Christmas is coming to Dollywood early this year. The Knoxville theme park, along with its owner and namesake, Dolly Parton, will be featured in a made-for-Hallmark Christmas movie that begins shooting next month.

Called, appropriately, “Christmas at Dollywood,” the film will focus on a Broadway producer, played by Danica McKeller, who comes to Dollywood to oversee the park’s “Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival.” As one can expect from a Hallmark film, she’ll experience an awakening and find love before all is said and done. Naturally, Parton will be heavily involved in both McKellar’s story line and the Christmas festival.

“Christmas at Dollywood” is set to premiere in December as part of the Hallmark Channel’s 10th anniversary of “Countdown to Christmas” celebration.
