Lubbock, Texas – The Red Raiders baseball team (23-9, 7-7 BIG 12) are on a five game win streak and don’t seem to be slowing down.

 

The Red Raiders secured victories in both games against Stanford and claimed a victory in game one against conference rival, the Houston Cougars, with a final score of 12-9. 

 

In a closely contested and high-scoring game two, the Red Raiders managed to outlast the Cougars with a final score of 15-12. 

 

The Red Raiders dominated early, surging to a commanding 12-2 lead after just four innings of play.

 

Although the Cougars mounted a comeback with four runs in consecutive innings, the Red Raiders responded, maintaining their lead.

 

With this win, the Red Raiders have an impressive 17-3 home record and a 4-4 record on the road. 

 

The Red Raiders have scored more than ten runs in the last four games.

 

They will look to keep their bats hot as they take on the Cougars for the final game of the series April 7th, at 1pm at Dan Law field.
