Lab-Grown ‘Cultivated Meat’ Could Be The Future

In the near future, that grilled chicken breast might not come from an actual chicken.  ‘Cultivated meat’ is the newest trend in food technology – meat grown in a lab from real animal cells.  Unlike plant-based alternatives like Beyond Meat, cultivated meat is “real meat” – made without killing animals or the cost of raising livestock.  Major meat-producing companies like Tyson and Cargill have already invested in cultivated meat startups – though the technology isn’t quite ready for retail yet.  Would you eat lab-grown meat?
