LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech (21-7, 2-3) again fell to No. 1 Oklahoma (26-1, 5-0) after the Sooners opened up the game with a 12-run first inning.

Oklahoma won the game 15-2, scoring its runs in the first and last inning. Arriana Villa and Kailey Wyckoff recorded their sixth and third homers of the season, respectively.

Freshman Mimi Blackledge came in in relief and recorded three-straight shutout innings before the Sooners finally figured her out in the fifth and final inning.
